We are a chemical-compliance team built around one rule: we do not sell you certainty we cannot prove. A container held at the EU border earns nothing and costs by the hour. Storage and demurrage mount day after day, your delivery date slips past, and the buyer who was waiting quietly starts phoning a competitor. Sometimes the goods are simply sent home. The bitter part is that the chemistry was never in question — only the sheet that travelled with it, judged against a rulebook written in another language that keeps being amended. Catch that defect early and none of it happens.
What we actually do
You do not need us to write you a new Safety Data Sheet first. You need to know whether the sheet you already have would pass the EU border document check.
So we start there, with the free SDS audit. Send us the sheet you already have and your destination country. We read it the way an inspector would and tell you what they would most likely flag. From there, if you want it, we can fix the document, draft CLP hazard labels, prepare a full compliant SDS, or build a chemical catalogue like this one.
Radical honesty is the whole point
Here is the promise we will never make: we cannot promise a shipment clears customs — nobody honestly can. What we do is remove the documentation defects inspectors record most often, before your goods reach the border.
Be sceptical of anyone who promises more than that. In chemistry, a false safe is more dangerous than an honest we don’t know. So when we cannot find an official source for a value, we do not invent a confident answer — an exposure limit given with no legal basis is a defect inspectors commonly record, so we mark the field unverified and say so. A draft that pretends to be final is a risk, not a feature
When we prepare a Safety Data Sheet, we build it in the format of Regulation (EU) 2020/878 — structurally complete, all 16 sections, and drafted in the destination-country language your buyer’s authorities expect. Under REACH the finished SDS must be compiled by a competent person, and some sections lean hardest on that qualified judgement, so what we hand you is complete but is not yet a signed SDS.
Until a qualified reviewer signs it off, the draft carries a visible watermark — a safety document should never look finished before someone with the authority to approve it has. How our SDS drafts work.
